Boston Police Department Refreshes Most Wanted List and Seeks Public Help

Located in the heart of Massachusetts, Boston is known for its rich history, vibrant culture, and tight-knit community. Recently, the Boston Police Department took an important step in keeping the city safe by updating its Most Wanted list. As of November 22, 2024, the Department is eager to track down and arrest individuals who are currently at large, and they’re turning to the public for assistance.

Crime Stoppers: Your Tip Could Help

The BPD is urging residents to be vigilant and report any information that could lead to the capture of these fugitives. You can call the CrimeStoppers Tip Line at 1-800-494-TIPS or text ‘TIP’ to CRIME (27463) with any details you might have. The best part? All tips are completely anonymous! That means you can help keep your community safe without fear of being identified.

Who’s on the List?

Among those newly added to the list is Zakai Occean, wanted for an armed and masked robbery. Then there’s Fernelis Bigelow-Lighty, who faces charges of larceny from a building as well as receiving stolen property. Next up is Alan Lewis, who is wanted for murder, a serious charge that’s sure to raise the eyebrows of many within the community.

Additionally, the BPD is trying to track down Dwayne Gaines for larceny from a building, Lee Kelly for assault and battery with a dangerous weapon, and Ryan Hardaway, who is also on the list for assault with a dangerous weapon. These individuals are considered threats to public safety, making community awareness crucial.

Breaking and Entering Suspects

In addition to the most wanted list, the BPD is also seeking two men who are suspected of breaking and entering at a Shell gas station located on the 1600-block of Tremont Street. One suspect is described as a black male in his late teens to early twenties, standing between 5’9″ and 5’11”, with a thin build. He was wearing a black jacket along with a white face mask, black pants, and white sneakers featuring a yellow tab. Notably, he had a distinctive bracelet on his left wrist that was green, white, silver, or purple.

The second suspect shares a similar appearance, wearing a black jacket and grey hoodie, paired with a green camouflage face mask and grey sweatpants, topped off with black and white sneakers. This individual is reported to have an injury to his left wrist, which could make him more recognizable.

How You Can Help

If any of these descriptions ring a bell, the BPD urges you to step forward. You can contact detectives directly at (617) 343-4275 or anonymously through CrimeStoppers. Remember, your intuition could make a huge difference – helping to keep Boston safe for everyone.

Community Contributions Matter

The Boston Police Department wants to emphasize just how vital community assistance is in *maintaining safety* in the city. With the combined efforts of law enforcement and attentive citizens, the hope is to bring these suspects to justice swiftly. Let’s work together to ensure that our neighborhoods remain safe and sound. After all, every tip counts!
