As winter blankets the city with its chilly embrace, Boston’s culinary scene is getting ready to heat things up with the much-anticipated Dine Out Boston. Kicking off from February 23 to March 15, 2025, this exciting restaurant festival spans an incredible three weeks, a record for this beloved event. If you’re a foodie or just someone who enjoys a hearty meal, this is the perfect opportunity to indulge!
That’s right, over 200 restaurants across Greater Boston are participating, each offering unique multi-course meals at a variety of prix fixe prices. Think delectable lunches ranging from $22 to $36 and sumptuous dinners priced between $36 and $55. Just keep in mind that tax and gratuity are not included in those prices.
With approximately 140 eateries ready to show what they’ve got, the choices are practically endless! Just a heads up though—while many restaurants will be offering their special pricing on most days, not all will have those deals available on Saturdays, so it’s wise to plan ahead.
If you prefer enjoying your meal in the comfort of your home, fret not! Dine Out Boston also includes takeout and delivery options. Many participating spots are making it so much easier for you to savor their delicious offerings from wherever you may be.
This year’s line-up includes some well-known local favorites such as Harvest, Sumiao Hunan Kitchen, and Bred Gourmet. Whether you’re in the mood for something familiar or ready to try a hidden gem, you’re bound to find the perfect place to satisfy your cravings!
Winter weather has its perks too, especially when dining at places like Grafton Street in Cambridge, which offers fireside dining. Picture this: a cozy atmosphere paired with delicious dishes like Maplebrook Farm burrata and grilled pork tenderloin. Doesn’t that sound delightful? Or head over to Capo in South Boston, where you can feast on Italian classics like chicken parm and penne alla vodka next to a warm, inviting stone fireplace.
Seafood lovers will be in heaven at The Banks, which boasts stunning floor-to-ceiling fireplaces to complement their oceanic fare. Meanwhile, Rail Stop creates a snug ambiance with a gas fireplace, perfect for those waiting on a table. Just imagine sitting by the hearth at Waverly, enjoying comforting dishes like chicken pot pie and steak frites!
Dine Out Boston isn’t just about food; it’s also a chance to give back. The event supports a charitable auction, benefiting organizations like the Charles River Clean Up Boat. So by enjoying those tasty meals, you’re also contributing to a great cause!
To enhance your experience, participating hotels will offer special overnight stay packages during the event. It’s the perfect excuse for a little getaway or a romantic evening out in the city!
Organized by Meet Boston, Dine Out Boston shines a spotlight on the city’s vibrant and diverse culinary scene. In fact, it’s worth mentioning that Boston was recently named the #6 Best Food Destination in the U.S. by Tripadvisor, adding even more excitement to this event. Whether you’re a local resident or visiting from afar, it’s time to grab your friends and family and explore the culinary delights Greater Boston has to offer!
So mark your calendars, get your appetite ready, and be sure to indulge in the freshest flavors this winter! Dine Out Boston awaits you!
